Our Leeds office is home to just shy of 40 consultants and their client base stretches from Yorkshire right through to the North East and beyond. The office is in a fabulous central location within a 10 minute walk of the main railway station and a few feet from a selection of fantastic bars which proves very handy for socialising after work! Our consultants in the Leeds office are all like-minded team players that are driven, ambitious and have helped our Leeds office to go from strength to strength recently, even allowing us to facilitate an office move over the last couple of years.
All new Associate Consultants will receive a structured and comprehensive training programme from the outset. The training you will receive will be a combination of training, shadowing, mentoring and support on the desk from the other consultants on your team, your Manager and your Director as well as formal training developed by our in house training team in London. Your training will be continuous during your time here and it doesn’t just stop after the 6 month consultant development programme course finishes. We believe in investing in you in the long term and to allow opportunities for you to continue to personally develop so we offer a further training course per quarter (selected by you) to help with this.
The role of a recruiter involves developing new relationships with both candidates and clients so you need to be someone who finds building relationships with new people an easy task! You will need to be an outgoing individual with a drive and ambition to earn money. No two days will ever be the same in recruitment so you need to be able to adapt to ever changing priorities whilst taking everything in your stride as each client/candidate call, and each job you work on will present its own unique challenges.
Our Leeds office provides you with a welcoming and friendly team based environment which proves great for new starters entering the recruitment sector. They are an outgoing bunch of individuals who are particularly good at organising social activities including getting on the guest list to exclusive new bars, and they participate in a tri-weekly baking competition to run alongside a well known TV show! They also like a bit of out-of-office competition including Girls vs Boys Netball games (all in the name of charity of course)!
