Job Description

Our Leeds office is home to just shy of 40 consultants and their client base stretches from Yorkshire right through to the North East and beyond. The office is in a fabulous central location, within a 10 minute walk of the main railway station and a few feet from a selection of fantastic bars, which proves very handy for socialising after work! Our consultants are all like-minded team players that are driven, ambitious and have helped our Leeds office to go from strength to strength recently, even allowing us to facilitate an office move over the last couple of years.

All new Associate Consultants will receive a structured and comprehensive training programme from the outset. This will be a combination of training, shadowing, mentoring and support on the desk from the other consultants on your team, your Manager and your Director, as well as formal training developed by our in-house training team in London.  Your training will be continuous during your time here and it doesn’t just stop after the 6 month consultant development programme finishes. We believe in investing in you in the long term, providing opportunities for you to continue to personally develop, so we offer a further training course per quarter (selected by you) to help.

The role of a recruiter involves developing new relationships with both candidates and clients, so you need to be someone who finds building rapport with new people an easy task! You will need to be an outgoing individual with the drive and ambition to earn money. No two days will ever be the same in recruitment, so you need to be able to adapt to ever changing priorities whilst taking everything in your stride, as each client/candidate call and job you work on will present its own unique challenges.

Our Leeds office provides you with a welcoming and friendly team-based environment which proves great for new starters entering the recruitment sector. They are an outgoing bunch, who are particularly good at organising social activities including getting on the guest list to exclusive new bars, and participating in a tri-weekly baking competition to run alongside a well known TV show! They also like a bit of out-of-office competition including Girls vs Boys Netball games (all in the name of charity of course)!

We have an unrivalled progression scheme at Venn Group, along with a highly competitive commission structure which allows you to take control of your own earnings! Our Pathways & Milestones programme offers a clear, transparent pathway to progression and allows for significant pay increases and/or new job titles with each new milestone hit. We’ve had great feedback on this so far and applicants particularly like the way that your progression opportunities are laid out from the start. We also have a unique and competitive commission structure which allows money to be made not only as an individual, but as a team. We are unique in our team-based approach to recruitment and believe this helps us with our ongoing success.

Along with our uncapped commission structure, training programme and clear pathway to quick progression, other benefits of joining Venn Group include:

  • 22 days holidays per annum (rising by one per year up to 30 days in total)
  • Bupa cover after one year's continuous service
  • Monthly Fizzy Fridays and regular team nights out
  • Entry onto our Vennture Points reward scheme (where you can trade in points for items from cinema tickets to technology to holidays!)
  • Top performer lunches for top billers

    If you are reading this and you believe you are;

  • Money motivated and driven by success
  • Tenacious and hardworking
  • Excellent at communicating with others
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced agency setting

Then a career at Venn Group could be for you!

If you are educated to degree level (2:2 minimum), or you have previous sales experience, along with a proven ability to think on your feet, whilst contributing as part of a strong team, we would love to hear from you!

If you can picture yourself working in this highly professional, supportive team-based environment, please send your CV immediately so the Talent Acquisition team can contact you with further details.

We look forward to hearing from you!
